ASPECT Flagship · 26A05
A tapered swallowtail with a long sidecut and a tail that sinks on command. Built for riders who watch the forecast, chase storms, and measure a season by its deepest days.
Product Story
There are boards you ride every day — and then there’s the board you grab when the mountain disappears under fresh snow. The 26A05 is the second kind. Its tapered tail sits lower than its nose, so the back end sinks and the nose stays up: no leaning back, no fighting. A long sidecut and a 250–259 mm waist carry speed through soft snow, and a medium flex stays composed when the run gets steep.
“
A board isn’t finished when it leaves the factory — it’s finished when you’re smiling at the top of the lift.
— ASPECT Engineering
Hand-finished and built with eco materials — engineered to hold its flex season after season.
Key Features
A tail narrower than the nose, cut with a swallow notch. The back end sinks so the nose does the planing — no fighting the snow, no burning legs.
8.34–9.54 m radius paired with a wide 250–259 mm waist. Carries speed through soft snow without folding underfoot.
Loads underfoot and releases through the turn. Pop out of every carve, with edge hold you can trust when the snow firms up.
Mass pulled from the tip and tail cuts swing weight — quick edge-to-edge, and light underfoot when the terrain gets tight.
A third fibre axis raises torsional stiffness, so the edge holds through the turn instead of washing out.
Durable composite core built to feel the same in week ten as it did on day one.

Rider Personality
For riders who chase storms — deep days, tree lines, and first chair after a dump. A dedicated deep-snow board for the quiver, or a one-board powder answer for riders who know where to look. Best for Intermediate – Advanced riders.
PERFECT IF YOU…
Rider’s Note
Why we like it: the long sidecut and wide waist carry speed through soft snow without folding underfoot — and the swallowtail releases instantly when you want to slash.
Trade-off: it’s a tapered swallowtail. If you want a park twin you can ride switch all day, this isn’t it.
Tech Details
Five technologies, from the camber profile down to the core.
BOARD TECHNOLOGY
CAMBER SNOWBOARD SHAPE
Loads underfoot and releases through the turn. More pop out of every carve, and edge hold you can trust on hardpack.
A third fibre axis runs across the board to raise torsional stiffness, so the edge holds through the turn instead of washing out.
EXTRUSION BASE TECHNOLOGY
An extruded base is formed with a uniform structure and a smooth surface. It does not need frequent waxing, repairs easily, and resists scratches.
PROPELLER TECHNOLOGY
Internal mass is pulled out of the tip and tail, cutting swing weight so spins start easier and come around with less effort. More rotations, less fight.
Eco Composite Core
Predictable flex from day one, so the board feels the same in week ten as it did in week one.
